What can one say when one finds oneself before this magnificent sample of Nature's handywork, silently crafted over I don't know how many millenia? For me, the only proper response is to admire it reverently, allowing one's eyes to roam over this or that detail, meticulously or if one wishes to have a "big picture", rapidly and to switch between first one and then another of such perspectives until our eyes and our heart have had their "fill. Thank you for your very artful capture of the grandeur of the Grand Canyon. It brought back many memories. Seeing your photos, I recall the heat on the sun beating upon my face and my arms as I roamed along one of its many tracks at the side of one of the mesas, all alone, with nothing but pines, shrubs and from time to time, little desert flowers for company.
